What a month! Following my podcast appearance in May, I had THREE stories published in the month of June.
Let’s start with the big one. Only my second pro sale in twenty years of writing and publishing, my flash story “Jaywalk the Stars” was featured in the June issue of LIGHTSPEED Magazine. You can find that story here.

Next up, I was featured once again in Underland Arcana, a very cool indie magazine that puts out these incredible looking small format books. They also publish all stories free to read online, which is so great.
My story in the Tenth (!) issue is called “A Fiery Lull” and is my modern-episoltary story with themes around sleep, family, fire, and drugs. Check it out here:

And, finally, in a bit of surprise publication (since I got the Acceptance email on a Tuesday and it was published less than a week later), my story, “Hypercaffeinated” (about coffee and urban vertical expansion) was featured in the Ascend-themed issue of Hearth & Coffin Literary Journal. This is another flash story. I’m particularly proud of some of the imagery on this one. Check it out here!

I’m still making my way through these incredible issues. I feel so honored to be featured near such talented writers. Thank you all the editors!
BONUS News! On July 1st, I had another drabble come out with Shacklebound Books in their unthemed book, The Book of Drabbles!
