Well, hello! Thanks for coming over. Can you offer a tea, coffee, cake? I’ve always got cookies. Oh, and stories! Yes, that’s why you came here. Of course. Please, take a seat. I’ve got a few stories I’d love for you to read if you have the time. Or you can bookmark this page for later.

What’s that? A blanket? Of course! Here you go. You know that chair reclines, right?

First off, I’d like to highlight only my second pro sale in twenty years of publishing short fiction. My flash story, “Jaywalk the Stars” was in the June issue of Lightspeed Magazine.

Another one of my favorite stories I published this year is my modern epistolary story about sleep and weed (and fire), “A Fiery Lull” in Issue #10 of Underland Arcana, my second appearance in that awesome indie mag.

I was very proud to have a story selected for the the Simultaneous Times Podcast where the editor commissions an original piece of music to be played with the story. I thought the presentation of my story, “They Promised Trees” here was excellent and would love to have another flash piece published there in the future.

I had two stories published at Hearth & Coffin Literary Journal this year, for two of their themed issues, Ascension and Micro. Please check out “Hypercaffeinated” and “Ladies, Sharpen Your Fingernails.”

Speaking of micros, I had a few drabbles published this year. Those remain super fun to write. I will bang out a first draft in a few minutes but will spend weeks tweaking to get it just right.

I had my second appearance at Monday Microfiction Magazine with “The Thing About Clouds” and was featured in the print anthology from Shacklebound Books, The Book of Drabbles with my story Untime.”

I will have two drabbles in a future Shacklebound anthology, Chronos 2, no release date at the moment.

And, finally, a second appearance (officially a trend for the year) at Space & Time Magazine with my story, “Through the Haze” in their 143 issue.

I have some BIG news for 2024, but I don’t feel comfortable talking about it just yet. Please watch this space.

Thanks for stopping by!
