The World Outside is OUT NOW from Underland Press.
Twenty one stories. Eighteen previously published between 2003-2023. Three unpublished pieces, one of them written when I was just eighteen years old. These stories represent a large part of my life. I’m so proud to share them with you.
I’ve done some interviews related to the book, I’ll link those below. I’m really happy with how they came out! (I sound somewhat intelligent, I think).

As I mention in the interviews, the stories in the book are very much of all genres. You can call slipstream fiction or “Weird Fiction” or just a writer trying different things.
Take for example the different sections of the book, loosely assembled by theme.
The first group of stories are my Angela Carter-inspired dark and delicious fairy tale retellings. Next I roll into futuristic tales of obsession and music and the apocalypse. Then I delve into stories about homes and homeless and stories about loss and how we process grief, through various Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror lenses. And, finally, the last group of stories revolves around drugs, memories, and sleep.
I can guarantee you will not be ready for what comes next in my stories!
