In Which Our Humble Blogger shares Stories of Great Repute…

Or, at least, tries to.

Well, hello! Welcome to my tiny corner of the Internet. I have some new stories to share as well as hints of some upcoming publications…

Since my last missive, the anthology, Chronos 2 has been released from Shacklebound Books. It contains two drabbles of mine, titled, “For a Limited Time” and “Now is Not Now.” I am very fond of these little stories. The whole book is a blast with tiny time-related stories that take 30-60 seconds to read.

Next up, I had a story published with the inimitable folks over at Silly Goose Press. What a joy it’s been to work with them! They care very much about the work they publish and devote time to promote it on various social media platforms.

I originally wrote “This Story Isn’t About You” for an erotica-themed anthology so it has a veneer of sexuality draped around a story of time travel, the end of the world, and violence. I really thought all those disparate themes crashing against each other made the story a tough sell and even tougher to love, but SGP has embraced my weirdness in such a heart-warming way. Thank you the editors there for the chance to share my weird speculative story in a more-traditional literary magazine.

And now, to the Forthcoming Section!

I am very excited that I am going to have a reprint coming out from the good folks at Bulb Culture Collective. The story is called “All My Memories Are You” and was originally published at perhappened mag. This is scheduled to release tomorrow (3/25)!

I am equally excited about an upcoming publication with the literary magazine out of Youngstown State University, Jenny. My good friend, Chris Barzak, is an Associate Professor there and helps run the magazine, but he assured me he had no part in picking the ToC for the issue, it was all the students. Be on the lookout for my semi-autobiographical little story, “If Wishes Were Dishes.”

And, finally, I recieved another drabble acceptance from Shacklebound for their upcoming Fantasy themed anthology. My story is called “Hold Your Breath, Kids.” No release date at the moment.
