(Don’t worry, not the Microsoft kind.)

Hello! Long time (sorry), but I have some publishing related updates.
First, I’ve had a few small publications since we last spoke. In April, my story, “If Wishes Were Dishes” was featured in the lastest issue of Jenny, an online magazine produced by the YSU Student Literary Arts Association. This publication is dear to my heart as my good friend (and Clarion classmate) Chris Barzak is a professor at YSU. The story is my attempt at a hybrid CNF, the first part autobiographical and the second speculative. I hope you’ll check it out: https://www.jennymag.org/spring-25-issue/if-wishes-were-dishes/
Next, I had two drabbles in the latest anthology from Shacklebound Books. The first is a reprint, originally appearing in Microfiction Monday Magazine (which has sadly closed up shop) and the second was written for this book. The book is titled Short Fantasy Stories and it’s as straightforward as that. I enjoy writing these “one sitting” stories but I am focusing this year on some longer works. The book, with its incredible cover and dozens of other writers, is available via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Short-Fantasy-Stories-Shacklebound-Anthologies/dp/B0FG8CYVFY
Now, let’s move on to forthcoming pieces.
I am thrilled to appear in one of the most fun and interesting magazines publishing today in Does It Have Pockets? My story, “An Unfinished Sentence”, a meta writing-related piece of writing will appear in September.
And my story, “Deep and Dark” a Christmas creepy crawler flash will appear in the upcoming Underland Press anthology, Kozy Krampus.
I also have another secret project I’m working on that I should be able to speak more about in the coming weeks. Really looking forward to sharing that.
Until next time, friends!
